The Madonna and Child Project
Saturday 11th - Sunday 12th August, Coronation Hall, Ulverston,
and Monday 13th - Friday 17th August, community room, Coach House, Ford Park
Re-showing of the 2010 festival exhibition from Canadian artist Kate Hansen, now that the full series of 15 portraits has been completed. Plus showing of an original print of the etching 'Abundant Supply of Milk', part of the Gravid series by Canadian artist Jennifer Linton.

We've got more going on over the weekend this year, as a result of feedback from last year. Come along to the fair, browse the stalls, and go along to any of the talks, films, or demonstrations listed that take your fancy! More weekend events will be listed as the details are finalised.

Doula! The Ultimate Birth Companion, in the Ante Room, Coronation Hall, County Square, Ulverston, time 11:30am - 1pm
An intimate and emotionally charged documentary about doulas and their part in pregnancy, birth and the first few weeks. Melanie Gard, doula, will be there to talk about what she does, and to answer your questions.



HypnoBirthing, in the Ante Room, Coronation Hall, County Square, Ulverston, 1pm-2pm
Taster session with Jean Anderson, HypnoBirthing practitioner and retired midwife, including a film showing how to totally relax and breathe the baby down, plus 15 minutes of deep relaxation with visualisation.
